Installing and using DrpShippr on your Shopify store costs nothing. There are no monthly fees, no subscription charges, and no payments processed through the Shopify Billing API.
DrpShippr connects your Shopify store with Indian suppliers and handles order fulfillment. When a customer places an order, you pay only the following — the same as paying your supplier and courier directly:
📦 Cost of Goods (COGS)
The supplier's wholesale product price per unit, charged only when a real customer order is placed and needs to be fulfilled. This is your inventory cost — not an app fee.
🚚 Shipping & Fulfillment
Courier charges for dispatching orders to end customers across India via logistics partners (Delhivery, Shiprocket, etc.). These are pass-through logistics costs, not app revenue.
Product costs and shipping charges are supplier and logistics payments — not software subscription fees. The Shopify Billing API is designed for app subscriptions and cannot be used to collect COGS or courier charges on behalf of third-party suppliers and logistics providers.
This is the same model used by all dropshipping and print-on-demand fulfillment apps (DSers, Printful, Zendrop, etc.) where merchants pay for goods and shipping directly to the fulfillment partner.
DrpShippr has received approval from Shopify to charge merchants outside of the Billing API specifically for Cost of Goods and fulfillment costs, in accordance with Shopify's exemption policy for dropshipping and fulfillment platforms.
